In early 2019, I launched the From Where to Here project: a participatory community art project consisting of multi-faceted art events. The events encouraged collective creativity and conversation through art-making, writing, music and collaboration. The aim of the project was to create time and space to honor the journeys taken, as individuals and as families, to reach the Bay Area.

From Where to Here was funded by grants from the City of San Leandro and The Red Poppy Art House in San Francisco. Locations included Station SL, the Red Poppy Art House, and the Community Impact Lab.
